Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor who is known for her work in a variety of genres in film television and theatre. She received numerous accolades including a Daytime Emmy Award and a National Board of Review Award. Her first recognition came for her roles as Vicky Hudson, and Marley Love in the soap-opera Another World (from 1987-1991), she won the two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Her fame grew in the late 1990s when she appeared in films such as the crime drama film Donnie Brasco (1997) the disaster film Volcano (1997) The horror movie I Know What You Did The Last Summer (1997) the political comedy Wag the Dog (1997) the action-comedy film Six Days Seven Nights (1998) as well as the dramatic-thriller movie Return to Paradise (1998). Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June. 6 53) was known as an American film actress. Her most well-known role is Lieutenant Sheba in the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978 to 1979. Lockhart is the daughter of the actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. The professional life of Lockhart began early. Her first role was aged four, when she appeared in T is for Tumbleweed. The short film about a subject was considered for nomination to an Oscar award. She learned how to run the business from her mom while on set. Lockhart played in numerous seasons of Lassie. Dora in Jory was her first film in 1972. The Sixth Sense starred her as the Joan Crawford daughter at age 18. Joan played the role in the show for her last time. Anne did not want Laurie Strode's role in John Carpenter's Halloween, 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later took on the role. Carpenter says the actress was on his list to play the part, but that she rejected it. Anne did not recall approached with the name of John Carpenter nor being offered the job. It's possible that one of her agents declined the role on her behalf without telling her. Glen Larson chose her initially and then sent her a draft written script. She was to appear in the TV series Battlestar Galactica, which aired in 1978. The actress initially refused the part since the character did not seem strong. Glen wrote an entirely brand new character, Sheba, which was much more strong. The first 25-page script was read to Sheba and she was immediately in agreement. It lasted for one season. She co-starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and also co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
