The actress initially refused the part since the character did not seem strong. Glen wrote an entirely brand new character, Sheba, which was much more strong. The first 25-page script was read to Sheba and she was immediately in agreement. It lasted for one season. She co-starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and also co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
