Ava August was 14 when she appeared at Staples Center, Downtown Los Angeles to an SOLD out audience. In the meantime, Los Angeles Kings were playing professional hockey. Ava August had been booked with the LA Galaxy and Los Angeles Dodgers, two professional teams for baseball and soccer. However, COVID-19 forced the teams to cancel their reservations. Ava August was the youngest performer on American Idol's 19th season in the age group of 15. Ava was awarded the GOLDEN TICKER at the Audition Round. Then the Genre, Showstoppers, Duets and Celebrity and Top 16 rounds were held. Ava was named to the America's TOP 10 for the year. Ava August performed two originals for American Idol, Neighbor boy and Ghost of You. Ava did a duet which had a tremendous powerhouse together with Josh Groban, an internationally-acclaimed musician. Ava released her critically acclaimed song Daybreak at age 15. The song was released with her first music video with animation. Daybreak featured on her Tropical Surf Hour on KX FM 93.5FM November 1, 20. Daybreak played 11/29/20 on 88.5FM the LA/OC station on the radio in Southern California to 11M listeners.
